youarenotaphotog: For the first time in the history of YANP, we’re speechless.  In steed  ex sample this per son should go a way Actually, I tried to find precedence for “in steed,” but google autofilled in “in steed I use www.picknik.com!!!” which led me right to the original site the screencap was taken from.  I did manage to find one for why “instead” is one word.   “Ex sample” proved similarly difficult to find a reference for, because apparently there is a market for “ex-sample” wedding dresses and such.
